Content of Civilised Self-Consciousness and Possibility of Its Transformation in Present-Day Conditions

Abstract

The study aims to clarify the meaning of the notion “civilised self-consciousness” and determine whether its transformation under the influence of external factors is possible. The work studies the content of civilised self-consciousness as influenced by processes of globalisation, migration, political, cultural and economic factors. Scientific novelty of the research lies in a comprehensive analysis of philosophical and theoretical approaches to defining the meaning of the notion “civilised self-consciousness”. As a result, it was proved that the concept “civilised self-consciousness” is a particular intellectual phenomenon that encompasses ethnic worldview archetypes, state ideology and “national idea” expressing goals and tendencies of civilisation development.
