Philosophical Interpretation of “Truth” Category

Abstract

The paper aims to discover specificity of the “truth” category philosophical interpretation. The article shows importance of this category for understanding the cognition process and reveals its key role in self-actualization and self-identification. The author examines advantages and shortcomings of the existing conceptions of truth and argues that this category should be considered beyond the framework of formal logic. Scientific originality of the study involves a comprehensive analysis of the truth problem that represents specificity of human attitude to reality and constitutes essence of the modern cognitive process. The following conclusions are justified: systemic understanding of truth is required to reveal human essence, nature of mind and intelligence.
