Communicative Side of Considering the Ageing Process

Abstract

The research aims to expand the socio-philosophical understanding of the phenomenon of ageing by actualising the consideration of its communicative side. The paper describes the key provisions and the heuristic value of this perspective. Scientific novelty of the research lies in justifying the need to turn to studying the communicative side of the ageing process. The key provisions of the communicative perspective on the ageing process are presented. The evolution of scientific interest in the phenomenon of successful ageing is considered. As a result, the author has confirmed the idea that the study of relational communication and the dynamic world of relationships in the later period of life contributes to the linguistic enrichment of socio-philosophical knowledge about ageing.
