Socio-philosophical model of an eco-oriented multipolar civilization: structure and criteria

Abstract

The aim of the study is to conceptualize a socio-philosophical model of an eco-oriented multipolar civilization and to substantiate its structure and criteria. Based on conceptual, comparative, systemic, and scenario analysis, approaches to multipolarity, ecological civilization, and future studies are compared; polycentricity, a multipolar order, and a multipolar civilization are distinguished. The main content of the article is related to the development of a three-circuit architecture of the model: the normative circuit fixes the life-preserving limits, the institutional circuit distributes powers and responsibilities, and the reflexive circuit ensures monitoring and revision of decisions. The scientific novelty lies in formulating a model of an eco-oriented multipolar civilization in which the autonomy of civilizational centers is correlated with common natural and social conditions of life. Its normative principles are expressed through verifiable criteria. As a result, the criteria for life preservation, resource and social justice, human-centeredness, cultural subjectivity, dialogue, distributed responsibility, institutional learnability, and inter-civilizational cooperation have been identified. The priority of the threshold of inadmissibility has been substantiated: irreversible damage cannot be compensated for by high efficiency in other indicators. The model is proposed as an analytical tool for scenario-based assessment and the design of long-term civilizational solutions.
