The Russian Provinces during New Economic Policy

The collection of articles is devoted to the study of socio-economic, political, and cultural processes that took place in the regions of Russia during the New Economic Policy (NEP) era. Primary focus is given to analyzing life in provincial towns and rural areas, changes in the economy, public life, and culture, as well as the impact of the NEP on the daily lives of the population. The articles cover issues of interaction between the center and the regions, the adaptation of local communities to new economic conditions, and the role of the provinces in shaping Soviet society.
