Ethnography, Ethnology and Anthropology
This collection of articles is dedicated to the comprehensive study of ethnic groups, understood as specific groupings of humanity at all stages of evolution and in diverse parts of the oecumene. The subject of research includes both ethnic groups as a whole – tribes, nationalities, nations, ethnic minorities – and their individual components, such as language, ecology, culture, daily life, consciousness, and self-awareness. Issues of ethnogenesis, descriptive ethnography, ethnic history, and ethnological regional studies are addressed. Special attention is paid to interethnic relations, including conflicts, ethnoculturology, ethnodemography, and ethnoecology, as well as ethnosociology, ethnopsychology, and ethnopolitics.
